  • Validity: 5 years from the date of registration

  • Renewal: Auto-renewed for another 5 years upon payment (no extra documents needed if compliance is maintained)

Penalties for Non-Compliance in Delhi

Failure to comply with APEDA requirements may lead to:

  • Fines starting from ₹1,000 + ₹50 per day of delay

  • Imprisonment up to 6 months

  • Suspension or cancellation of registration

  • Disqualification from export benefits

Cancellation Conditions

APEDA registration may be revoked if:

  • No exports are made for 12 consecutive months

  • False or misleading documents are submitted
